No idea. I just saw a flash on the news and the headline said that the party that got hit was suing but it didn’t go into detail. Was wondering for what? Crazy video tho

Sorry. I'm siding with the boat that got hit.
    $350k is a starting number.
If you fuck up peoples day like that. You're gonna pay through the ass. Especially if there's video.

Obviously he's at fault, just makes me think of the people who wear a neck brace after a fender bender. Hate people who milk it

Shit, having a boat coming at anyone like that might make them afraid to get back on the water. Hard to judge unless your the one jumping from the boat saving your own life.

I think the dumbshit driving the boat that hit them deserves to butt *ucked for this one. No excuse for that kind of idiocy.

Having watched the last two dumbasses in their F-250's rear end me because they weren't paying attention he'd gets zero sympathy from me. When your driving a boat car anything you need to be paying attention

pretty cut and dry. the tin boat is a vessel not under command, and has the right away. (unless some intercoastal waterway big boat law applies, as I'm not exactly sure where they are)

Someone has to pay for damages, I dont see the insurance company pony up for negligence, the guy running the boat had better have good insurance , hes a dumb ass !!!!

I'd have 350k worth of shit in my pants alone! That was ridiculous those people are lucky to be alive. Thankfully they weren't hooked up and high fiving not paying attention.

Suing for what ? let me think about that, maybe a new boat comes to mind, among other things. The idiot driving the big boat should NEVER be allowed to run a boat again.

I agree. I just saw a news flash with no details and was wondering what had happened?? I thought maybe it could have been a medical situation where the driver of the boat was unconscious or had a heart attack, etc etc, but finding and reading the article I see he had his head up his ass not paying attention.

Really? It's like hitting a needle in a haystack.

Yacht is like a mile off and pinpoints the skiff at 25 mph plus.

Note to self: Don't drink brews and pass out, while underway.

If this happened in California, they'd give the driver the death penalty and close off the whole river to fishermen to avoid accidents like this in the future. $350k seems low
