I've edited this to unoffend whatever moderator felt that my reply was somehow offensive while I've seen plenty of other replies that are no different ! Lighten up.Politicians and Religious Leaders
Two groups who want to control some of our most private, and intimate, aspects of our lives.
This site is still privately owned, right?
So.....Ali and Jason can run it however they like.
Seriously? Who you think backed Roe v Wade being overturned, despite a majority of Americans being in support? Or Prop 8 that was backed by $22 million from the LDS Church? What religious leaders want to control our lives ? First of all they have zero say so about it unlike that other group you mentioned that can wave a magic wand and apply some control.
No church has ever had an influence on my life.Religion didn't over turn Roe v. Wade.Seriously.Seriously? Who you think backed Roe v Wade being overturned, despite a majority of Americans being in support? Or Prop 8 that was backed by $22 million from the LDS Church?
Not knocking churches. They represent a constituency just like the NAACP. But thinking they’re not actively working to enact laws that represent their world view is seriously naive.
Churches have been and will be meddling in the affairs of government from here to to the Middle East.
I disagree with what you're saying. I think if we continue down this road it will result in this thread being deleted.Seriously? Who you think backed Roe v Wade being overturned, despite a majority of Americans being in support? Or Prop 8 that was backed by $22 million from the LDS Church?

Can we add a poll?
Do you think anyone in the history of online forums has ever had his/her mind/politics changed by a forum political discussion?
Especially on a fishing forum?
1. No, never so there are no other choices. Let's go fishin' (oh, and spoiler: the spoiler function doesn't work, at least not for me).
More people have died because of religious wars than from abortion. No church has ever had an influence on my life.Religion didn't over turn Roe v. Wade.Seriously.
Difference there is that the babies were completely innocentMore people have died because of religious wars than from abortion.
Go ahead and abort your mistake, just don't ask taxpayers to pay the bill...More people have died because of religious wars than from abortion.
You missed one important detail concerning the majority of American in support. Its true the majority do support it to a certain point in time after conception; whether it be 8 weeks or even 15-26 weeks but anytime after that is just pure murder and the pregnant gal has plenty of time to figure it out before 16-20 weeks. Now if the woman's life is in danger then with the sign off of 3 state appointed physicians then a later term procedure would be allowed. I just can't see why the 2 sides can't come together and get a compromise law passed on this and several other issues like the border, immigration, and gun control. Fire them all and get some new blood in thereSeriously? Who you think backed Roe v Wade being overturned, despite a majority of Americans being in support? Or Prop 8 that was backed by $22 million from the LDS Church?

Well I guess that proves the biasYou must be new. We only allowed politics from 2016-2020. From 2003-2016 we would send everyone to Allcoast for political shit.
