bs with out pics....
Fuck the antis. There is NOTHING you can do to change the mind of an anti hunter or fisher.
You are right you will not likely sway a Anti, but they will use shit to bring people to their viewpoint....., especially when they use pics of animals like dogs and seals on hooks... it can and will easily sway a person to the anti side.
I swear, we are our own worst enemy sometimes.
I thought frog in a blender was pretty funny
MMM would this be kinda along the same as baiting a coyote on a rope from a tree with a treble hook... or ? am I confused????
Absolutely, just like it. but so are a number of things I mentioned that are not viewed as cruel or inhumane because they live below the surface. I sure as shit wouldn't video it and post it online..... That is just stupid. But why do we have feelings for one creature and not another is my question? Anyone ever been trolling and seen a fish skipping in the wake because someone had too tight of a drag and a small tuna didn't set of the clicker? Is that any different. Yes this is on purpose and I agree the guys are idiots. My point is we all do very similar things to animals and creatures just like I explained. But because its a dog it all of a sudden causes feelings? I don't disagree with any of you that it can be viewed as cruel or inhumane by some. To each their own has always been my way of life. I don't mind how you feel as long as you don't judge how I feel. if we start judging we are as bad as the Anti's.
The pictures I posted and now my Avatar I thought were some of the coolest things I had ever encountered. These girls were given a certain number of tags just like Gator fisherman, they harvested them exactly like Gator fisherman with one exception. They gave the meat to the village elders as opposed to selling it like Gator meat. This was a tradition that they are keeping alive.
If a coyote was threatening my children and I could not legally shoot it I would have zero problem with doing anything possible to solve the problem.
Like I said Facts do not care about feelings
in my neighborhood , we have had Coyotes around
here for a Few Years now, and I have noticed
that I have a lot less Cat Shit in my Planters
the only bad part, is that I walk my dog every day
and he finds what is left too a Cat.
FYI cats are really fun on the light rod...
Remove the hooks from a swim bait or a Skirted bas jig, flip it down the hall and wait for the ambush strike.
My wife had a cat in college. That poor bastard would be panting like a puppy on christmas.
about the only good thing about a cat.
I thought I was the only one who found pleasure in this. Haha
More fun to just put scotch tape on their paws
YES, it's all legal. do it!
coyotes are protected in San Diego County ... so don't think it;s legal ...
i was being funny
ok but never know on BD....
Look into a Airforce Condor SS .25 cal. pelletgun. Has a silencer built into it and will shoot cast bullets. With a few little modifications it hits about as hard as a .22lr
This rascal showed up at my place a couple of weeks ago. When my six month old GSP pup isn't in the house, she is in a kennel to my left. She was outside at the time and likely the reason for the visit.
Cross Bow Time
I have a high powered pellet gun. Just wasn't ready! It's a .177 and would only work with a head shot, of course. If I get another chance, I'll let you fellers know if it will do the trick. However, it is not quiet! Not as loud as a .22 but certainly not as quiet as an Angel's fart.
Does not look to me you have any neighbors that could hear the shot ?
The only neighbor that would make an issue of it is the next property to the east (off to the right in the photo).
Gunfire around the area is not unusual. The county has a GIS page of properties that are allowed to shoot. It is a patchwork that considers property size and elevations in relation to neighboring properties. Technically, I don't make the list.
A shot fired from where I took the picture would land solidly in the dirt in the side of the ridge and the only thing at risk from the shot would be that coyote. There are no rocks in the hillside behind that erratic to cause a ricochet.
At that moment, all my long guns were locked in the safe. We'll see what happens if it ever tempts me with another fine offer to reach out and touch it.
