Hopefully it sticks. That would be nice... One type of flat fall working better than another?

Looks like I have the right set up.. Saltist 35 2sp spooled with 300yrds of 50# braid topped with 100yrds 50# mono (that is what I had), this way I can use 40# or 50# floro...

We all couldn't afford a rod right now, but we did.

    Now with over 50+ R&R's, can't afford a wife.

Ya I just got married and already spent way more than I should have on this trip. Including new reels haha. Thankful I won a rod at the last Alpine beer fishing team raffle.

    Is your MXL a raptor?

You HXJ and if your MXL is a raptor could work. Just put them on the heavier rods you have

TBH, you'll probably only use a #15 through #30 flyline/bait, yoyo, and maybe a surface iron set up.

Just got back from my trip. The New Lo-An killed it. Limits for everyone. A 50# 2spd worked best for me. With the 2spd I was able to crank little by little and with 50# it was easier to pull on the fish without worry of breaking off.
Fish were caught on 40#-60# with 1/0 hooks either J or circle.
