If I could I would. I want another one and going to build it the exact same way except with expoxy and kiwi grip.

It's 2017, what type of phone bills are we talking? The sexy kind will make you go broke but your fingers still won't smell like fish, and we all know boats bring all the bitches to the yard. Sounds like you've got a decision to make.

I can't believe this! After spending 5 years trying to put this boat together and borrowing labor all over this site you finally float the boat and decide after some motor issues that this isn't right for you because of usage and maintenance costs are too much.....but you want a bigger boat with a pilot house? How are you going to afford a bigger boat if you can't afford to run this one that is finished? What about all that borrowed labor? Are you just going to tell your friends "Too bad, I sold it"? Not really a good choice on your part. You will never find a more affordable boat than a small aluminum like the boat you have right now.

If I read between the lines it looks like you found a major issue with the motor or the hull and decided to dump it on another unsuspecting beginner. Not really a good choice on your part, again.

As far as what your boat is actually worth, the answer for a well used boat is:
whatever somebody is willing to spend. My guess is around $5000 if everything is sound and in working order. From what I saw of your finished boat with all those holes in the transom and the visible rust, you will get less that that.

Actually not the case. It's a very nice body everyone that has seen it likes it. Between the added registration they are hitting me with storage insruarsnce fees it's to much for me at the moment. I need to save for a while get another boat. I want one I can sleep on in the ocean i slept over night on the Gregor and was way to cold. This is a great boat and I plan to buy another one just the same for personal fishing boat.

I think you have no idea what you want, and most your messages are saying how good your boat is but you want to sell it.. I think you boat is a problem child and you want to unload it...you want a boat with a cabin, then you want a boat just like the one you have, but you will use different stuff to build it with...from the poor and distant pictures you post it looks cluttered , and built hodge podge...
no one hear in their right mind would by your boat now... better disguise it and post on craigslist.... have a great day....

Sent you a PM. I'll trade you my paid for 14 footer that starts first crank for this project, with some contingencies based on all of those fees you've accrued being paid and that title problem from a few weeks ago being sorted out. Maybe I'm an idiot but this boat deserves better

You can, just need to handle your affairs differently. You have a fine boat that would serve many needs. However, spending the night on it isn't the best idea.

If your present boat is a financial burden a larger boat is going to bend you over x10.
