I have several, but they are all Avets. Virgin Avets. At least I presume they are 100/130. Truth is, I can't put enough pressure to warrant 130. I do plan to put at least some of them to use, soon.

I added 2 international 50W 2 speeds and an Avet 50 2 speed. Bring on the tuna!

They all do double duty as high speed trolling reels for wahoo in the Bahamas so I get my use out of them.

What's the minimum reel you'd use for a cow? I don't fish this type of fish enough, or at all, to buy reels I won't use. My biggest reels were a Mak15 and Fathom 40NLD2. I'm currently looking at the Mak16, Torque 40NLD2, Avet HX Raptor, or Talica 16/20.

Adding a Torque when you already have the Fathom isn't going to help much. My avatar fish was caught on a Fathom 40NL2, it was a bitch, but it worked, barely. After that, I racked it and didn't fish anything else besides my Mak16 the rest of the day. I don't consider the Torque, HX or Tac16 are "Cow reels". I'd say 150ish pounds and about is the most you would want to realistically, purposely hook on those reels. If there are legitimate shots at cows use a heavy body reel like the Mak16 or more.

I'm building a beast rod for a buddy, and have a stick of my own to build, but don't have plans to wrap it yet. Others are first.

Raptors are a medium frame. For a cow Bluefin I'd be happier with a heavier frame reel like the Mak, Talica, or a Penn VISX. The 16 is at the low end if you consider the size of these beasts last year. One can only imagine just how much they've grown should they make a return visit.
