Make your own Cajon seasoning, mucho cheaper and you can adjust the heat as desired.
Blackened fish seasoning mix:
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground red pepper(preferably cayenne)
3/4 teaspoon white pepper
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
I usually double or triple the batch and keep it on hand for all recipes that call for cajon spice as well as for those that don't!
