My good friend and yours from the Toronado passed doing what he loved best. He and his wife went on a couple dayer up north out of Ventura together for her birthday. He was fighting a Sea Bass and he had headache at the time. Not a normal one he told her. She was watching him fight the fish and turned away for a sec and when she tuned back he was headed over the rail. He passed suddenly and they tried to revive him for over a hour. What a great loss to everyone who knew him. I personally will miss him extremely. We have fished hundreds of times together. RIP my brother Kevin Martin. Im typing with a heavy heart, say a prayer for or buddy.

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends. Hope when my time comes I’ll have a rod in hand and a fish on the line.

Agreed - rest in peace Kevin. I fished with him last two years ago, and had a great time talking with him.

Wow. I just saw him on Sunday. He was looking forward to taking April on a 2 day trip aboard the Endeavor. So sad. I will miss his company, great food he made and most of all his friendship. He was an asset to the Toronado.
RIP brother. We will meet again.
