Picked up a friend from a three day trip out of H&M. They had 13 guys for 5 yft and 1 albacore. Drop him off and looked at the landing counts from my house. WOW!!! they didn't drop, they are almost non exsistent. Was that flury for two weeks the begining of the end?

I hope it's not the beginning of the end, but sorry to say, it sure has been looking like it for 5 or 6 days now.

The last 5 or 6 days have been the coldest in the last month....at least inshore. Spike in tempature coming this weekend...could have good implications.

Weather was slop out there. Even some trips being cancelled. high winds and 8' swell.
should get real good early part of next week!

Just got back from a 1.5 day and there were fish but nobody wanted to bite. Wierdest thing to see yft and bft boiling and you can't hook em.

I think Markus from the New Lo An said it best when he said things are in "transition"...

Weather and water temps obviously playing a big roll right now...

Not the weirdest thing this year... Light line has been the key to getting picked up, if you can.

I was on the same trip. Everyone was using 15# gear and still not getting bit. Fish just weren't interested in biting.

Light line is what people who want to catch fish switch to when
    others give up.

It is more the tenacity of the angler than the line diameter
    that catches fish.

Fish do not comprehend the difference between 0.011"dia.
    and 0.026"dia. line.

There is no point at which line becomes 'invisible'.

Bait in the water gets bit more often than bait in the well.
