Full moon was June 5th and I left on the morning of June 9th on a 3 day trip on Vagabond. The trip was outstanding. We started down off Ensenada where there was a good night bite the night before and after getting a couple of handfuls it dried...

Appreciate that information but to put it in context, I was asked if those massive schools of 200lbers that were shot by the plane at the top of this thread were bluefin or yellowfin. I could be wrong but does anyone have aerial shots of huge schools of 200+ pound yellowfin swimming in US waters? Anyone? Or is catching a yellowfin over 200lbs in US waters a rarity? Has there been any boat is US waters in recent memory that has made a substantial catch of 200 pound yellowfin? Like out by SCI?

It is easy to tell if they are YFT or BFT. If they are YFT the local seiners will be on them!
