That school is straight husky bluefin......so cool to watch the video as you can see individual fish roll on to their side while swimming called "shiners"....
Just the way to talk, you probably couldn’t catch your limit of BFT , even on a 16 day trip. You know, I changed my mind. I hope you get skunked before the boat catches YOUR limit, just so you know how it feels to spend that much money and watch others have your fun. Fact is that I am gonna pray for it.
Don't really care as long as they settle in and decide to stay a while and feed....Lets see switch way they split the island - inside or outside...
2017 O'sideBluefin...been a while since 200lb yellowfin swam in US waters...
Appreciate that information but to put it in context, I was asked if those massive schools of 200lbers that were shot by the plane at the top of this thread were bluefin or yellowfin. I could be wrong but does anyone have aerial shots of huge schools of 200+ pound yellowfin swimming in US waters? Anyone? Or is catching a yellowfin over 200lbs in US waters a rarity? Has there been any boat is US waters in recent memory that has made a substantial catch of 200 pound yellowfin? Like out by SCI?2017 O'side

It’s not common but if there’s 50-60lb fish there’s 100+ lb fish.Appreciate that information but to put it in context, I was asked if those massive schools of 200lbers that were shot by the plane at the top of this thread were bluefin or yellowfin.
