A couple of people... Or a couple hundred... Or a couple thousand... Or maybe just every boat in southern California that isn't currently broken down. Yeah.

good advice but tomorrow isn't really the weekend. The boats aren't the problem, it's the assholes driving them are.

water temp is the highest north of La Jolla, this would and will be a consideration for me. we are planning on going to La Jolla tomorrow but may end up going a little further north. I'll be on 72 also.

I will be out tomorrow, leaving MB at 4:30. Having planning all week and everyday it changes, I will be on 72 BigD. Right now its the 182/43 area, nice little patch of warm water around there. I like right off the point of SCI also, who knows but I will take not on both Dylan and Black Widow if I run into anything

Good luck guys. I went out for a few hours today and while the water was NICE (I was almost 30mph both directions today; it was like boating on a comfy bed) there wasn't enough current to get things to eat. I love riding on an ocean like a lake but boy do I hate fishing it.

The only things eating were birds on bait and there weren't any big fish with those bait balls.

Good luck out there. I was looking at going a little North looking for some less tainted Halibut spots. Hopefully not too crowded on Sunday.

Doesn't anyone work on Friday anymore? I guess I've missed the last 3 to go fishing but I want to go tomorrow! Looking forward to an awesome report. I've heard there's some bigger bluefin outside the 182 but.....just what I heard. Good luck boys!

It was the same yesterday, almost looked like a mirror when the fog reflected off the surface and took forever to drift off a paddy with no wind or current. We did see lots of breezing and boiling Bonito, lots of bait, but few birds. Bonito would hit anything you offered.

Please let me know what career you have where you're able to fish during the week! I'll be out there saturday with the rest of the weekend warriors. Good luck out there and reports good or bad are much appreciated.

Self employed. But as my dad used to say .

You get to pick your hours. All 24 of them. But you can choose to work a saturday and Sunday instead to make up a day off mid week if you can turn off the gd phones

Good luck. Friday and Saturday conditions look good. 20+ knot winds expected Sunday afternoon. That will screw up Sunday for sure and probably some residual morning sickness Monday.

What do you use for wind reports. NOAA's forecast for sunday out to 30 miles says less than 10 knots of wind all day. A rarity to see a wind report as such.

    Might be this: http://www.fishweather.com/spot/18804

Yeah, it's San Clemente Island, but whatever is causing that 30 miles an hour wind - I'm guessing it's a tropical storm, you want to stay away from.

Tropical storm Lidia is headed up the Baja coast. Bouyweather shows 20-30 kts wind on Sunday.
