If you have, how deep is the water there? What fish species do you catch and is it deep dropping or not?

Thanks Pete. I've looked at that one before and it looks to be 450-500 feet deep there if that chart reads in meters, which I think it does. I just want someone to confirm this for me and tell me what fish species they've caught there. The 450-500 foot depth range seems to be right in between conventional and electric reel territory.

Seems long for a manual reel, but I'm old. Post what you get.
There's an ironman trip on the Yankee Capts. that starts on August 12 and will fish Halfway Ledge, Howell's Hook and Pulley Ridge. I messaged Capt Greg and he said the trip will be deep dropping during the day at an average of 650 feet deep. I'm not sure I want to buy an electric reel or hand crank fish up that far. I'm getting old too.

On a Florida fishing forum, it was mentioned that Tampa fishing outfitters has an electric reel they rent. It's "behind the counter...:

I fished the area last week and do not think the conventional is a good option.
