I heard a good story about a pretty popular kid about my age. While getting bait or driving over to the receiver Frank Lopreste gave his speech on the tackle, rigging, etc. and before he had even crossed the threshold out of the galley the kid said "I wouldn't listen to a thing he said." I can't remember if Frank left him at the bait receiver or turned it back and dumped him at the dock, but yea, banhammer and no refund for being a jackass before even leaving the bay.

    Haha, too PC.
No names, but certain anglers have been black balled by certain boats. I guess I'm a kook, cause I found I got along with these guys quite well.
Like the trip I'm going on in 3 weeks- not everybody gets along perfectly.
Heck, we're out there 16 days, and even a 124 foot boat gets small.
I figure if we all thought and fished the same way the world would be a boring place.

Me too. For counting cards while playing blackjack downtown. Actually, they like tourists who count cards. I was kicked out for winning. They were polite about it though. Back then, a guy who was good with numbers could make a decent living playing single or double deck blackjack.

I had a guy tell me on a trip that all of the fireman that went into the world trade center towers deserved to die. They should have known better and not have gone up.

As a fireman I climbed across the table to smack the guy. Fortunately people held me back. Andy was none to impressed with the guy and had a talk with him. I believe he was invited to never fish on the boat again.
