After getting my first a couple of weeks ago, was itching to get out again. Plan was to be at 277 by gray light. Drop in jigs and head to the 209. Temp was 72.1, no wind, fairly calm seas. 10 minutes later we had a hook up. Everything was same as last time.

Avet HXJ Raptor, PHD-2Xh, 60 lb flouro, 275 lb wire, Yozuri Bonita in Dorado.

My buddy Rick manned the rod and did a great job for his first Wahoo.

Yeah, I'll take a luck and superstition over science and technology--but, most guys were not even out there trying--that is a big part of it too. Can't catch a thing if you are not soaking a bait--or trolling one

Thanks guys. One note, we got a hit outside the double rigs later in the afternoon , that popped the "baby YT Yozuri" out of the water

Luck happens when your buddy/captain has the skills to put us on the fish. Thanks Brother. Another fish off the bucket list.
