Islands Halibut caught in December

So I took my daughter out on her first overnight trip on the Endeavor fishing for bottom feeders. After we filled the bags we did a few drifts for game fish. We knew it was a long shot but we had time to kill. She caught a halibut and the only one to do so. Now she is hooked on fishing. Next trip for her will be my annual memorial day weekend trip on the Pacific Voyager to catch her some tuna.

So true. I'm a result of that concept. Fishing bluegill on Hume Lake with a stick and a set line probably helped, too.
