Guacamaya is a popular lure color combo here on the East Cape. It's a combo of neon yellow, orange and green. I've been wanting to build a rod with those colors for awhile and decided to build it for the tackle store. It might be on the shelf for awhile, as it's not everybody's cup of tea, but these things have very long shelf lives and some day the rightful owner will find it.

Blank is a MHX composite, rated 20-40 pound line and it's made as a spinner, Fuji K Alconite guides, Pac-Bay seat and rubber gimbal. All threads are the very appropriately named Voodoo Brites.

Might want to use PPE (personal protective equipment) for viewing - sun glasses would be fine.

The lure in the first photo is an old veteran and the green color has mostly faded, but it still catches lots of fish.

I think you’ll have to wear sunglasses when it’s fished!
