This is my second rod I built. I learned a lot on this build. I’m grateful for all the forums on here that have helped me and inspired me. I’m just building for friends at cost and I’m enjoying every minute of it! Any feedback is appreciated. I’m learning and love all the input I can get. Thanks in advance

Good job, your on your way. One tip is to make it a habit on keeping somekind of record of what components you used, guides, ring insert material, thread, epoxy, etc. Its good info for the viewer and if you ever need to copy or repair that rod you know what you used.
Yeah I usually fill out a build sheet. I forgot to add description of components I used

Just curious on the grips, did you sand and round the edges over or does it come like that? And 4 coats of Gen4, does it apply thin like a lite build or did you just apply 4 coats? I have some, just haven't used it yet.

Thanks!

I sanded them down yes, they come straight and sharp so I wanted it to look cleaner. I always apply very thin coats, it’s a high build but I think it doesn’t apply like it.
