Fished with the family today, starting at the shoe and later toward the 150. We shunned the crowd and found a fat one at the slack. The fish kicked my butt on the NaCl/wax wing. 30lb braid /30lb flouro/ dine from Nacho. The fish was towing 6' of 40# tied to an owner ringed 2/0 :D

Hahaha, it could have been yours. It was over six feet of straight mono to the hook, the line was frayed near the break
Wouldnt be surprised at all. My 30 lb mono was super old and frayed and thats what I blamed on the line breaking.

Thanks Robert!

I think yesterday was a slow day for many, I could make out 6 cattleboats and 30+ PB'rs in the mosh pit but no whooping or hollering. My fish was part of a double strike on a slow troll, the second fish broke the leader in seconds. NW of the fleet, we found several spots of pushed up bait and yellows with lockjaw.
