    He does have a good point.I was cured of "tuna fever" years ago and don't have that desire to spend so much time and money to drive around in the ocean.I'm fishing the bay tomorrow.

    A while back there was supposed to be a "large volume" of yellow fin in American waters. The San Diego cattle boat fleet used to be very good at catching them. According to the fish counts, All the local captains either forgot how to fish or the tuna are gone. Help me with my thinking here guys. Can the seiners take so many fish there aren't enough left to bother with?

    It's been tough fishing local waters this year for some of us. Many are looking for some decent paddy fishing or even maybe a yellow fin that will bite on the troll. I've been on boat rides myself this year. Looks like things might be getting better as fish reports south are good and those fish tend to keep moving up the line. Hang in there!
