Really, that's what your wife asks you when you get home? And which website should he have asked his question on? You have a whopping 23 posts on Bloody Decks and suddenly you're an expert. This website is pretty much wide open my friend....ask any question you want and prepare to hear answers you may not like. That's what makes people come back for more.....the lively banter and the unbelievable information for those who know how to sift through the garbage and the entertainment. Back to your wife....the only thing my wife says to me after a day of fishing is why are your clothes so bloody?:D

Is that dumb like standing on a bathroom scale with a day old yellow to weigh it, or dumb like having people guess how big a fish is from a photo online?Honestly who really cares about how much the yellow weighs. :frehya2:

I just imagined how odd it would look to my neighbors to see me standing on the scales in the driveway with a dead fish looking down trying to read the numbers...

I think it is pretty cool that the fish was taken on the kelp. It is a big fish no matter what. A nice local kelp bed Yellowtail is always welcomed. A bloody shirt is a sign of a successful day fishing our ocean waters.
