After prepping and launching the boat.
Started the run to the spot. It took a bit to get the first fish and had to bounce around a bit.
Then wam! It started. First fish we were reward with was a nice ling. Then found good grade of Halibut. Some other lings came aboard. 3 fat lings total and 3 smaller but good eaters.
Did not weight any of the halibut, but estimate about 30-40 pounds.
All lings and butts caught on pipe jigs baited with squid.
Final count was 3 limits of halibut, lings, and seabass.
One guy forgot his fool weather gear at home, other dude just crazy and likes to get bloody.
Then we drove into Forks for burgers at Sully’s.
All and all a great day.
