Had a great day on the spotted bay bass and one keeper sized halibut near the Coronado Bridge using various plastics on 6lb. test. All action in 20-35 feet of water with tidal movement. 40+ on the bass (all released) between 0730 and 1300. Had an experience with one chapped ass liveaboard in a beat up trimaran who thought he owned the bay and "demanded" we leave immediatedly because we were "trespassing". Shared a few thoughts with him about his perspective on life then showed him how to catch a few bass near his boat while he raved. He finally gave up and wenrt below and we moved on. Beautiful day.

Loved to have been a kelp fly on the wall for that perspective on life.
Probably the same perspective I'd have given him, give or take a few meaningful words.

Glad you made the best of your day!

You get some unique individuals on the live abords. I haven't been to that area in a while but there used to be a woman at tidelands that would just screech like a banshee at you. Good times Mike
