BFT might be tough as the mass of YFT has moved in. Not saying they arent still here, just a huge mass of YFT out there now!

Well a reel washing machine day, kinda mixed sea... conditions sucked, but we got one nice yellowtail, then the rest of the day we were in the right places but at the wrong time... I gave a friend numbers and they caught a YF and a BF on them both 50 lbs plus... We stuck it out to about 2;30/3;00 and then to the barn..

    there's always next week...:)

We were out there as well Gary. Lost a nice sized YFT at gaff as it was tail wrapped. We did manage a blind jig strike 25'b BFT. Very rough out there that was for sure.

Oh forgot to say,we got bait at the mission bay bait barge, and it was primo, large sardines and greenies, all perfect size 5 to 7 inches... sad to say only found two dry patty's.

All bait released unharmed to be caught another day.....LOL

Tough conditions out there yesterday, eh Gary?

We flipped a coin and went south...managed to put a few in the boat....when this weather lays down I bet it goes stooped wide open.

Yup, tough comditions. I felt like a bull rider in the tower yesterday trying to hang on. Salvaged the day with one BFT, three YFT and one YT but the washing machine took its toll on me. I heard you on the radio a few times. I agree when this weather settles it will be game on.
