    We saw a mile of bluefin on the String Tuesday! And yes, they bit even the dead bait!!!

    We fished with the fleet today. Definitely more of a pick bite today imo....I haven't checked the landings counts.

    Most day boats had a fish and a half a rod to limits on the bft. It will be interesting to see if they came up in the late afternoon for the boats that hung out. That was the pride we saw comming home early with limits.

    I'll chime in, the 25#....

    Some of the fish are 30#+ and you want no part of them on 20# set up. The odds of you landing them on a sportboat in particular go way down.
    I was getting bit on 30# topshot yesterday and had a helluva batttle getting one of my fish in and that was on a pb.
    Don't panic and drop down to the light stuff if you're not among the first on the boat to hookup.....Keep fishing and hopefully your # will be called by the fish.
