Unbelievable that he has a shot at the all-time rushing record in the history of the NCAA
More unbelievable is that people here care more about the Chargers...
If the Chargers leave or move downtown, the existing Mission Valley stadium area looks to be either a new dual purpose (MLS/SDSU Football) stadium and/or an SDSU West campus. If that happens, SDSU football may be the hot ticket in San Diego just like the Padres...oops, I mean Aztec basketball.
Pumphrey and the Aztecs are an exciting team to watch. It is a shame more folks don't support them.
The heisman hope went out the window with that loss to the Alabama rejects.
Pumphrey could go for two hundred yards tomorrow night against SJSU.
Anybody hear his stats lately? He is #1 in rushing, with 1111 yards and 11 touchdowns. That's a lot of 1's
The Aztecs are Superbowl bound...
But the Chargers are getting ready to run the table.
Pumphrey has a shot to do something big tonight. SJSU has a weak D and the game is on ESPN2 at 7:30. Tailgating at the Q shortly and hopping for something big
Heisman is in the bag after last nights performance...http://www.espn.com/college-football/heisman/
I don't know. Utah's Joe Williams is coming up with a last second challenge:
Big T obviously doesn't realize his guy gets dq'ed for being out of his lane.
Running against that Bruin D is like running againstthe stay puff marshmallow man.
Actually, UCLA had one of the better run Defenses in the PAC 12. Maybe you should pay closer attention before running smack?
I don't say much specifically about tOSU because I admittedly don't follow the B1G in detail. Only at a high level to know that Penn St was not all that much and yet they beat tOSU while completing just 8 passes.
Who gives a shit about any team from Utah or Ohio???
You give no credit to the Utah OL. They were blowing giant holes for Joe Williams. Garret Bolles was outstanding just pancaking defenders all over the field.
I guess you missed the fact that Utah has had 17 starters out with injuries, 5 out for the season, yet they keep pulling off the wins. That is a testament to the coaching staff and their recruiting.
you back from catchin dead fish.... huh
I'm disappointed with the level of fan support.
Granted the SJSU's of the world aren't marquee draws, but come on.
The stadium should be packed.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem...
Support that team, or risk losing the program. There's a reason why I'm a Utah fan. Cal State Fullerton dropped their football program during the recession of 1992. I graduated in '84 and they went 11-1 and were ranked 18th in the polls. I used to take my father to all the home games. It was good times and he was a football junkie. Graduate school at USC did not convert me to a Trojan. Just overwhelming arrogance on the part of their fans and it is iunjustified based on their performance of late. Let's face it, Pete Carroll is not walkking through that door.
