If your gonna quote me it was "Nothing has changed......" I never said all was well.

Cops getting gunned down by gangsters in Mexico at home and at work is a reality of the country. Not the first time that some bad people in this world have tried to make a statement by murdering whole families. I wish this was an isolated incident but sadly its really not, and even more sadly probably not the last.

Although these reports are tragic they are not revelations, drug cartels have always used tactics such as these. Unfortunatley human life can carry a low price in those situations. I am saddened and angered by this report but to my horror I feel no surprise. Read the Mexican news papers every now and then and you will see what I mean.

I will still be casting a Berkley Gulp in Sardine color later this month trying to get dinner off the rocks in front of my house. IMO the risk to the average tourist fisherman of getting robbed on the way to the fishing destination still remains the same.

    :cussing:

SIR!!....How dare you imply that I would smoke low quality crack! Besides, Ill have you know that Im a drinker.:drunk I tried being a crack addict but I kept getting sand in my igniter device while fishing causing the torch to malfuntion and burn off my left eyebrow. I then used the broken torch to pop off the lids of Modelo bottles untill the pain went away, so technicaly I guess Im an alcoholic.

Now that you know I would appreciate it if you would refer to me as a DRUNK IDOT when implying comments of a derogotory nature towards me.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    GTB
NOTE: In the interests of full disclosure, I did have several limes with that 12 pack of Modelo causing it to be a full VEGAN meal, therefore if you want to call me a name, VEGAN is much more hurtfull to my psyche than DRUNK IDIOT. FYI

    Just got home on Saturday.
Not a single problem.... had a great time and still planning on living south when I retire again.

However the drug $$'s seem to be getting closer as they come north from Cabo.

Shit happens............ and I agree it's gonna get worse before it gets better.
