Hey all,

(Will get pics posted up shortly). Selling a lightly used Garmin Striker Plus 4CV setup w/ the CV20-TM transducer, protective cover and some extras (I'll throw in an Apache 1800 dry box I outfitted as the battery box with some connectors [I soldered/heatshrinked the power cable to fit this connection too], as well as the RAM Mount adapter I got). I was using one of those blue brick lithium ion batteries but it crapped out on me. If I can get it replaced under warranty I'll throw that in as well.
I've used this only a few times on my float tube but find it to be overkill, especially the setup/tear-down. This is probably best suited for kayakers or small boaters. It's an awesome setup though and the detail from the ClearVu is pretty sweet... it's just a bit much for my needs.

What battery would fit this set up? Could you share an example, thanks!
Pretty much most 12v batteries - sealed lead acid, lithium ion, LiPO (for RC cars), Nocqua, etc. I've even seen people group multiple AAs together to power their fishfinders! Not sure if that would work too well with this one since the transducer is a bigger power drain.
Most people use sealed lead acid batteries. I used a junkie 'blue brick' lithium ion battery that didn't last very long (poor quality battery) but when it worked it would give me several hours on the water.

The battery box I built can easily be modified/changed up to accept any battery you want to put in there that will fit though.
