I remember my brother getting ticked when I accidentally snapped off 1 leg of the last 1 he had, Tuner. I almost cried when I found out that it meant I couldn't hear anymore Jim Croche.

...I cop to being an estate sale whore...Found some fantastic deals...Bad part is my garage is full of stuff I may need "someday"...This, week it was a $190 tile saw and stand I bought for $50...:(
Yep....stuff you may need someday. Who cares if it was previously used if it's a good deal? LOL

    Nice finds!
Remember when schools had ROP programs preparing kids for life? our school had auto shop woodshop metal shop print shop and plastics where our teacher brought Surfboard shaper To class and made a board in one day. Mom was head of national sales for vans tennis shoes in the late 70s and 80s n From 10 to 12th grade I split school at noon drove my 72 Volkswagen square back from Buena Park to the original vans store off Glassal inSanta Ana, Assistant manager worked 1 to 9 PM 40 hours a week before going into the ironworkers Union. Work hard play hard stay hard🤙

I was in Jr High when skateboards came out in the late 60’s. Mine had steel wheels… no urethane wheels back then! Urethane wheels and precision bearings were real game changers! The kids these days don’t know how good they have it… said old guys throughout all of history!

We rode down Mt. Washington Drive on steel wheels in the late 60s. The board would slide on the turns. No helmet. Only went up a tree once.. Fun times.
