Thanx for the links.

Has anyone had repeated success fishing wahoo with one or was this a short term product by this company?

They had some pretty cool paint patterns. Especially their orange flake and purple flake maurader. Fish Dog Gary has a few originals. I was considering doing an orange metallic flake on an Intruder to see how it turned out. It literally looks like a Buick Regal low rider on Hydros.

GC Lure Company from what I understand was in the Inland Empire back in the 90's when they made these Maurader style lures.
The thing I found very different from the other lures made at that time is the top ring they put on them and the black anodized hooks with high end swivels.
They also had big bug eyes which stuck out.
The colors that they did were very well done with a lot of metal flake in them.
I have repaired and refinished one of them and the resin they are made from is hard as a rock.
I have 3 of them and I have a darker green with black tiger stripes that I have fished and it definitely got bit.
Whenever I find a new color I try and buy it. but most of the sellers that have these know that they are a rare find and want good money for them. Let me know if you want to part ways with it and I will make you an offer.

View attachment 1067382 I have bought these GC bonzi trollers from different members and have yet to troll them. They’re pretty heavy and at least look good. Haven’t found any info on these either.
I bought one in the 1990s from Yo's Tackle in Gardena. It worked, but the damn nose broke off so I added it to my collection "wounded soldiers"

Yeah....it was a "knock off". Quality was inconsistent as was it's ability to run true consistently. Colors were painted by a jig painter in the day. Not bad looking... but that's where it ended. Good luck with them....lol.

But truly loved "Yo Yoshida", He was the best! Took me under his wing in the 70's as a "greenhorn".... taught me allot. Rods.... Long range.... everything. A TRUE LEGEND!! One day I'll tell that story....

GC stands for Gerry Cambell, we were buddys back in the day!! He lived in Corona he and his dad where painting contractors and made lures too. I was a home builder and used them to paint some homes for me. I think I have some still? I introduced him and his sons to quail hunting. We went to San Q. before the bar & restaurant were even built. Generator and oil lamps in those days...They where knock offs of the Mauraders. He had Iron an a pencil style iron that he called Barracuda Killers. We spent some time in the field & boat together...
