FYI MC Works TT fighting Belt CRACKED

    Is anybody seeing this problem ? It cracked right up the middle and to the side of the gimbal mount.

    This was without a fish . Just setting up . Went to put the rod in and heard a crack.

    The photos are taken without pressure on the belt. It really opens up with bend.
    This should not happen. Wrote the company MC WORKS [email protected] and they refuse to reply so I decided to make it FYI.
    Yes I'm pissed paid a lot of money for the belt and it should not happen. Almost unused really.

    Thanks for sharing. Was just thinking about ordering one of these too, but now second guessing it. Anyone else have a favorite alternative?

    So sad. I love their rods so much. Hope won’t need warranty claims.

    Old stock? I seem to recall that the old model had cracking issues but the new ones are supposed to be better.

    It's been nearly two months and they still haven't replied? And the store that you bought it from won't help?

    If the problem has been resolved, perhaps you should respond?
