Took a buddy out today for the Izors adventure. Nice easy breeze, but a cold breeze. Put 15 total on the boat, done by 11:30.
Water Temps maybe 59, gauge not working, water clarity about 10 feet, wind at 5 knots and steadily climbed to about 11 knots, so we left as drifting with the plastics became tough. All fish released. Kman special (clear red flakes) led the charge today with the bulk of the catches including all the calicos (3) and sculpin (1), all the rest were sand bass. Couple of toads!
With our smaller boat, wind rising, and cold (67?) Temps we cut the trip short. No birds, no porpoise today. However, did see a few breezing bait balls.
Green and red plastics made up the rest of the catches. Came across my first guitar debris. Never know what you're going to catch or come across. Have a great weekend! Tight Lines!

Great report, nice doubles. Coffee grinder porn is sexier than amputee "little people". Thanks for posting. Looks to be wind-cock for my allowance time this weekend. Sad. Been doing that to me for the last month and a half. Guess I'll go drink and tie flies...

Thanks for the report. We’re heading out tomorrow (Sunday). Will start at Izor’s if it’s foggy.
