Hit the Fred Hall show on Wed and headed down to SQ on Thur. Fished Fri, Sat and Sun. Weather was great, fishing was slow by SQ standards but all of the boats in our group got yellows on Fri and Sat. On Sunday we only a couple yellows. Bottom fish were hard to find even when targeted but we managed a few each day and on Sunday one boat had a pretty good score of reds and Capt Juan and Rosarito Jimmy found all you want giant whitefish. All yellows on yoyo iron with blue/white getting the most but some came on other colors. The lings mostly came on the flatfalls.

As you can see from the pics the yellows were huge and the weather was rough, haha. Well, the calm weather and all of our boats fishing real close to each other did provide for some wide open beer drinking and BS'ing.

Fishing is fun but hanging with friends is what Baja is all about :)

Jardines Hooked us up on the oysters, clams and especially the Lobster Thermador, maybe the best I've ever had.

The Eucalyptus is really, really, really good. We had so many different things from sashimi to cooked fish to lobster to rack of lamb to fillet mignon. Simply put Chef/Owner Javier is a Bad Ass!

And we had a true feast at Panchos Palapas. Thanks Pancho! Lobster and clams to die for thanks to my good friend Luis "Profie" Reyes. After that it was BBQ steak, chicken and oysters compliments of Daniel "Fresh One" Cordova and our buddies at La Chorera.

And none of this would have happened without my good friend
"The Juan and Only" Capt Juan SQ.

You should squeeze in as many trips like this into your life as you can!
If you need a after vacation diet I hear Oprah has a great one on her webpage.
