I was reading in the paper tonight that some economists are forecasting FOUR FUCKING BUCKS PER GALLON by this summer ? Jesus Christ ! I hate to think what boat fuel will sell for ?

How will this affect your fishing ?

depends, if theres 80lb bluefin at the 302 it wont matter, if I have to run to the lower 500 for scratch albies, Ill fish Cat and do my impression of Curtis or do 1-2 road trips to east baja. I would much rather catch local yellows on paddies than anything, so we will see. Is that definative enough? LOL

Does anyone know what diesel is going for on the docks now? It might be time to fill up. Shit I hate having a 600 gal tank at times!!!

But then again I was able to wait it out until the prices came back down last time.

I wish! the damn EPA makes us get underway if we have to re-fuel we cant bring a barge along side like back in the day.

Holy Shit I just had a stroke of genus.....! The engineers take small 4 oz fuel samples and throw them away as waste oil every day. If I were to collect those then take them back to 4REELS...... Hmmmm, let me see 600 gal divided by 4 oz.... Shit my head is starting to hurt again!

No problemo... sold my twin gasser (1mpg) and switched to diesel at just the right time. 3mpg now so all trips are affordable when you got 3-4 guys on board. For those guys with gas hogs and battlewagons.... ah pity da fools!!

If it hits $4 a gallon... Ill walk or take the trolley, save to fish. kinda funny that prices are so high and the gas companies are making billion dollar quarterly profits.

    Drop drawers insert corporate penis.
