Just make sure you take the Bonnie the night before your trip and when you get on it. That way it’s in your system before the fact.

    On a side note

Imo prepare for super. 3 supers and 2 fish over 290 the last few days. That's possible da islands, pv, home guard type of fish filling in on hb and the lower b's. Big fish swam away from home and are mixed in with stock grade.

Told myself in 05 when that really heavy fish showed up. 130lb for fly line sardine and mac and not to drop down below 130lb. Fished 130lb for 4 days. 298, 283 + most fish landed. On the 130lb line

Want to be sporting fish a lower diameter. I want a 5

On the Intrepid heading south now. Loading yesterday was fine, just a light drizzle as we loaded at 0700. Great advice to wrap duffle bags in plastic and cover with a tarp. All clothes made it to their proper location completely dry.
Unbelievably flat seas now as we near the Cedros area. Great load of bait. Twenty of us enjoyed a great prime rib dinner last night.
I set up an 80 and a 100# rig in hopes we see some bluefin on the way down.

Still beautiful weather. Long swell no wind, glassed off most of the day. I was hoping for a shot at some bluefin today, no such luck.

Highlight of the day was a tour of the engine from Captain Bill. Beautiful machines, professionally done. Still too cold to sit out back and smoke an evening cigar. Beautiful sunset, no green flash. Couple more travel days.

    Hello everyone,
Weather is still really good. A little lump today, still great traveling weather. Great group of guys. Boat is very clean and the food is amazing. Great vibe with the crew.

No bluefin yesterday, but we did get a dorado and a wahoo on the troll. Both open water fish unrelated to any structure or floating objects. They were welcome additions to the boat and will be invited to share a meal with us. For those interested they were caught trolling a cowbell.

I am pleasantly surprised the internet is still working. It’s intermittent, but it still here. Bill said that the satellite provider KVH had upgraded coverage in the area. So far, so good.

On a side note, a friend turned me on to Whatsap. It’s an ap on your phone that allows you to text or call people who are also on the ap. It’s quick and also is free. I highly recommend downloading it. I’ve been using it with family and friends to communicate.
