I had to back out of a 16 day trip April 2022. Not for my own illness but because of a family member. Trip was $5500+, I sold it for $4,000. Trying to work a claim was cumbersome, dragged on until I was finally presented with a three page form to get filled out by a physician. It was a time that the insurance company did not have time or staff to engage in conversation, only email. Not a good result for me.
But, it’s good to know it’s there. I just renewed for this next year, $510 for $5,0
