This was posted in Fresh Water Fishing......My Bad!!!

This is an annual trip we have been doing for 11 years. If you ever have a chance to fly fish this area in the winter, you should give it a try. Very few willing to venture out in this weather. Yes it's cold but there are no crowds and the fishing is always good. We had 4 days of fishing with one of the days snowing all day. The quality of fish were really good this year, but we did not catch as many as we have in the past. Egg patterns, leaches, and #20 thru #26 midges worked best.

You know you love to fishing...if you are willing to fish in this!!!!

I loved fishing the SJ back in the mid-80’s. The San Juan worm was the best!

I just to use a net like yours. But on the bigger trout it is such a pain. Especially on the East Walker. I bought a net with an extended long handle and it does make it easier to reach the trout. Nice video. Love the Browns.

Hey John, Maybe you could DM me some decent areas to fish on the East Walker. My son goes to school at UNR and we go up there to fish a few times a year.

    Thanks man,
    Miles Francis
