It's been a while since i had a swimbait itch. Decided it was time for a new set up. Had this High-Mod prototype blanks at my desk for almost 2 years, threw it together this week and ready to stick one on it.

Are the G2 handles foam arbored? If so are they full length/.
they do have arbors in them. they are not a "foam" its more like a rubberized material. It reams straight and stretches a bit. They are not full length to keep down on the weight.

Not all of the g2 grips come with arbors. The 16" salt water ones do not.

I used some foam arbors from mudhole and turned the ends down. They ream super fast but take a ton of epoxy, heavy once glued.

i just glued up a 16" as well. i went the tape arbor route, ended up putting in 5 of them 3 in the middle and two on each end.

Nice work!

I've had my eye on those grips for a while. After turning my own for so long it's hard to get comfortable with someone else's shape, which has kept me holding off. I do need a swimbait rod though, and they look like a good fit. Maybe I'll put one together soon.
