    Hello to all my customers!
Please forgive me for not letting you all know what is going on. When I have my next meeting with the potential new owners I will be able to discuss everything with you all.
For now, I can tell you that I will still be involved with Five Star and help with the transition.
I am very excited about the new owners. Please understand that this was a hard decision for me, I love each and every one of you.
I am confident that the new owners are a good fit to provide you with equal service as I have provided these last 14 years. Try to be patient with me until I get the information I can share with you.

Like all loyal Five Star customers, I have been on pins and needles since I heard of this pending sale. First and foremost, I have to say that for me, this is both sad news and also happy news. Sarah and Andy have become real friends over the years, and if this is what they want, I'm ecstatic for them.

But of course, for those of us who have used and loved their service through the years, it represents some real doubt, and quite a bit of sadness too. This is especially true for me, because given my situation (living in Mexico most of the time), Five Star has really provided special service. I mean way, waaaaaay beyond the call of duty or business. It's just hard to believe that the new owners could possibly take care of me the way Sarah has.

So, of course, I spoke to Sarah. She gave me some background, but she was reluctant to say too much yet. What she did say with absolute confidence is that the incoming owners will be just as customer-oriented as she has been all these years. Those of us who have used and loved Five Star should find very little difference in service...just some new faces.

And when Sarah tells me something, I can take it to the bank.

Thank you, Sarah, and all of the excellent crew at 5 Star. I just picked up the fish from my last trip a week of so ago and it is, as usual, an excellent product. We all will miss you. Stay healthy and happy, and good luck to you and Andy on your next venture.

Thank you Sarah. I don't think you know how you have touched so many of us. Not only with your over the top service, and high quality product. But by you just being as friendly and helpful all these years. You are really going to be sorely missed. I hope all is good with you and yours. Please stay in touch. Kevin

Sarah I wish your family nothing but the best in life and congrats on selling if that is what makes sense for u.

Selfishly I hope the new owners will ship fish like in past years since I live in Colorado and fly for my LR trips.

With that being said I want to offer a most sincere THANK YOU!!! Thanks to you and your willingness to take my catch to San Diego airport and freight my catches. I have rejoined the Long Range scene and couldn't be more pleased with your crew waiting up top when the Spirit would get in. Had u not offered these services I question how readily I would have gotten back into LR.

Thank you thank you thank you Sarah and Crew! God Bless

This has been on my mind. After much thought I've decided, Sarah, that you can't go. There you have it.

Honestly, you will really be missed. Your work ethic has been inspiring.

Oh, yeah - and you can't go...

Yeah. Time to stop neglecting my golf game... My next tuna trip, ironically, looks like it will be out of Oregon...
