    just heard today that the 28' Bertram Cori K got a stripey and a spear fish that Saturday, Island Lady got a 250 lbs blue marlin and another boat got 2 nice sized (over 100 lbs) big eyes...

    I caught my biggest oio during the last tsunami warning a few months back. More tsunamis is ok, as long as they are just like the past few.

    I heard rumors about these 2 bigeyes too, now those are some nice fish!!!! Any details on where/when/how?

    I heard the big eyes - 150 and 190 lbs - were caught outside Ko olina in about 1,000 fathoms, in the blind, trolling...also heard Boom Boom got a 300 lbs blue marlin Sunday; I got a double shot of big eyes, 150 range, on the short corners a couple of years ago in the same area, in the blind, and on 14" lures - lol...
