I like the Aftco "Stealth" Shorts but have Pelagic and FishWorks in the rotation as well. WetWillyBiz.com long sleeve performance shirts work great, keep the sun off you and keep you cool too.

Jason gave me a pair(free) of Pelagic shorts years ago. Seams suck, have had to repair multiple times.

Jason, can you send me some Fishworks shorts so I can compare which is better.

    Thanks awesome bro!

PS. So, to answer original thread question, which ever free shorts you get from Jason are the best.

I was at the Pelagic booth a couple years ago at the Fred Hall Show. I will try to quote a conversation with another guy I met there as best I can.

Me: "I don't know if I can wear this, I'm getting a little heavy and it wouldn't look good on me"
Guy:"I don't give a !?#$, I'll wear whatever makes me comfortable on a trip. Like I want to look good for a bunch of dudes on a boat (sarcasm)!
    Me: "Good point".

I agree with some guys here I'll buy whatever is on sale... And makes me comfortable.

I love fishworks, especially their pants, actual shorts with pockets and belt loops, and jackets. There are a ton of socal fishing apparel companies, they all make good stuff and I'll wear whatever I like.

Old levis and old beat up t-shirts, or any reasonable priced shorts when hot. Fish don't care what I look like. Do like the way those fishin shorts clean up with cold water, and dry quick.

What about SALTY CREW !?! Besides that fishworks and aftco for sure, although I have one red cut off palegic shirt that's been my lucky shirt for a few years (avatar pic), they shrink up real bad and the shorts I bought from them are like gym short quality.
