Anyone have any ideas about fishing the kelp lines south of Ventura Harbor? If I can talk my neighbor into fishing tomorrow, thats what I was thinking, even running as far south as BKR.

    18' winns?

you're gonna get wet on the ride home. launch out of CIH and you'll have a few miles less to get wet in.

run to capa and at least you're running kinda with the weather on the ride home instead of head-on.

either direction has fish that need to die so good luck out there.
