Besides Fishworks, who else makes board style fishing shorts? I'm going on a trip later this month and I wanted to pick up a few shorts so any suggestions are appricated.

The most comfortable shorts on the market are made by Pelagic's sister company, Bass King.

I have the commando shorts and they are by far the best made and comfortable shorts I have. I wear them around town, and on the water. They run true to size, so dont be afraid to order online.

Try a pair on and see/feel the difference. You wont be sorry!

You're just looking for any quick dry nylon short with pockets. They don't have to be from a fishing company (which you pay a premium for). Hit your local Ross and Marshalls and buy last year's Hurley, Billabong etc. You can get them for under $20 bucks a pair.

So I guess having my wife cutting off my old Levi's to make shorts are not cool anymore........if I had her hem the bottoms instead of all the strings hanging down.......would that be hip???
