Looks fun, that's the Toronado? Was wondering where they were during the rock fish open.

Are the GP rods a new line of rods?

Yes that was their debut trip, still in prototype form though. They are based off the gusa blank wrapped in a thin layer of carbon fiber weave about 2/3 of the way up. The carbon fiber really looks bitchin and seems to add some power to the line rating of the rod but keeps the nice tip. Basically did all this without adding any measurable weight to the blank.

It is a GUSA with more backbone.. As of right now, there are 5 models in the 80 series that were prototyped.. GP80 MAG, GP80 MEGA, GP80 MONSTER, GP80 TERMINATOR AND GP80 PREDATOR..

. We are still field testing these rods, as of right now they are just prototypes and no timeline of being released.. CAC6F896-730E-4084-AF52-D40086082CAB.jpeg
