It has been a frustrating fall here in Asuncion for fishing charters. After years of cancelling charters due to hurricanes in September, this year we didnt book any and got anglers to switch to October. Well we had to cancel the first 2 weeks of October due to hurricanes....sheesh!!! October is the new September it seems with water temps just warming up here the last couple weeks of October which is when the bigger yellowtail started to show up....better late than never I guess!

Our local fishnut Rossman has caught 3 wahoo and a few tuna but had to troll for hours to get one but looks like there are more coming in every day.

The weather is absolutely perfect for fishing...not much wind in the afternoons and calmish seas.

Our first charters this month yielded some nice tails and they got 7 different species in one day! Here are some of the highlights.
