Hi! I know there is a lot about california fishing that I do not understand. I am really intrigued by the amount of military traffic you have here.
San diego never ceases to amaze me! Hoping to see the grand dad reel brothers next time, I would like to be his camera man...

Just the military guys shooting down yummie flyers...Still, you can't beat San Diego for catching tuna on paddleboards, as well as under them...:)

The Coronado Bridge is built sections that float so they can barge it out in case of a war and the Silverstrand has enough explosives in it to create another channel out of the harbor that’s the military for you. San Diego has a very long rich history of the Navy. I love the history of San Diego it’s amazing

I was at the lower nine and saw something on my fish finder i thought was a big school of fish, started getting my shit together to chase them when this sub surfaces about 50' away from me, i could have hit it with a jig easy... my first thought was, "I wonder if those fuckers knew i was here?" seriously with some tail wind I probably could have spit and hit it. it was pretty cool and pretty scary at the same time.

last year a navy ship putting out a huge wake capsized an 18' cc in that area.

I don't think they give meter marks. At least ours shouldn't!
