    Congrats on your 1st seabass, the 2nd, 3rd, and so on, can be painfully long hours for nada. The best seabass fishing I have had is while targeting other species. Seabass are like women, full speed happy go lucky one moment; testy, bitter, and uninterested the next............. but the time vested is worth the reward.

    If you weighed your fish sunday early am 7 am or so at the fule dock in San Diego I saw you. Very nice fish,my kids were impressed,and damn thats one nice c-bass.

    Nice White Seabass, croaker, ghost, WSB or "Tarpon" if that's what you want to call it? And yes they are good eating! If you would of shown a picture of a real Tarpon, that would of been the 1st I ever heard of along the west coast? I do not think ANYONE would of believed that one! :)

    I'm surprised noone has questioned the call about 52 pounds.....that's a nice fish but looks closer to 22 pounds or so.......btw it's a biscuit!

    yes that was me....it was nice meeting you down there. we had a fun time playing guess the weight with your boys. everyone takes this a bit too seriously...i was just trying to liven things up. of course that fish was a white ghost. my first legal. when it came to the boat i said to my buddy...man that looks like a fucking tarpon kiddingly. just a joke boys....go chase some tuna.
