Many, many mistakes and MANY, MANY lessons were learned on this one. I appreciate all of the knowledge on here....basically my sole source to be able to learn, besides the ol’ You Tube.

Needs a final coat of finish but really happy so far. 1st of many to come!

Looks like you've been building them for years. Can't wait to see what number 100 looks like.

That looks really good. Why do you think it needs another coat of finish?
Well, what you don’t see is that the tiger needs finish. I had finished the first coat on the under layer the night before and needed to finish the top one. Also, I scorched the crap out of the finish in one of the upper guides because I used my propane torch instead of an alcohol lamp. 😂 Definitely not for beginners.

Okay. So use less heat on your torch.
I find it helpful to pour the mixing cup onto foil and warm it there. Better still, I use a straw to blow on the bubbles to break them up. The best thing, is don't create them in the first place. 😏

**Just make sure you extinguish the flame on your lamp.** I've read a few scary stories of those that haven't.
