Second post ever. I don't really get out too much to fish. Usually just family touring around Alamitos Bay. And not even that too often.
I've caught a few calicos, sculpin, small buts and sandabs since moving out here from FL. Went out solo this morn and got small scoop of dines and macs from Nacho. Out by a channel market off Pt Fermin area found this on flylined Mac. He wrapped around anchor line and I had to one arm the anchor and gaff. So Fun!

Finally got the real skunk off :)

We have seen birds working in the area often, but no signs of Tails. Good job.

'09 Pathfinder 2400. A great boat for the east coast in the ICW and nearshore. A little wet out here though with the jet stream afternoon breezes we have.
Oh, nice. I've seen one out here and it is built in a more East coast style but looked like a solid boat. My boat is decently wet when the wind is up but I enjoy the spray.
