The old bilge blower was a piece of junk, installed a new one with ducting. Even added a ground wire to the fill neck and fuel tank.

That will work! You might want to go back and seal the wires on the fuel tank sender. I use liquid tape & heat shrink tubing or the heat shrink crimp connections as much as possible.

Yes, you can’t see it but I’ve got a coat of attwood marine liquid electrical tape inside the connections covered with two sleeves of heat shrink.
